25 total U.S. Attorneys have been nominated by the president.
On Tuesday, the White House announced that President Biden had selected nine individuals to run U.S. attorney offices around the nation. These top law enforcement positions will have an influence on which crimes to prosecute and bring to trial. Those selected would work at the offices in Hawaii, Rhode Island, North Carolina, Colorado, Ohio, Vermont, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
According to the White House, the individuals were “chosen for their devotion to enforcing the law, their professionalism, their experience and credentials in this field, their dedication to pursuing equal justice for all, and their commitment to the independence of the Department of Justice.” In total, President Biden has selected 25 people to serve as U.S. attorneys since taking office.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For President Biden to seek God’s guidance as he nominates individuals to various positions.
- That members of the Senate would have wisdom as they vote on these appointments.
- That God would bring about greater justice in the country through these nominees.
